Source The Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Power Grid is supplying power to TEDA. The Power Grid of TEDA is one part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Power Grid. Currently, the power of TEDA is supplied through the Mengganghou 220KV substation and the Poyang Road 220KV substation.
Capacity With one 220KV, three 110KV and eleven 35KV substations, TEDA has developed a power grid of 110KV, 35KV and 10KV.  The grid has a capacity to supply power of 550,000 KVA and its annual power supply totals 2 billion KW per hour.
Mode To ensure the reliable and continued power supply to the enterprises, TEDA supplies electricity to users in a double return and closed circuit. To those users with high demands or special requirements of power supply, TEDA may supply power with special lines.
Except for the planned power cut or unexpected blackouts, TEDA guarantees 24-hour non-stop power supply of 35KV and 10KV to the users.
Frequency The power supply frequency of TEDA is 50HZ±0.2HZ.
To those users whose total installed capacity of transformers is larger than 100KVA, the 10KV power is supplied. If the conditions are available, the low voltage power can be supplied.
To those users whose total installed capacity of transformers is larger than 3,000KVA, the power of 35KV or 10KV is supplied.
Voltage To the 35KV users, the variation in voltage is within ±5% of the rated voltage.
To the 10KV users, the variation in voltage is within ±7% of the rated voltage.
To the low voltage lighting users, the variation in voltage is within +5% and -10% of the rated voltage.
Long-term Planning The total capacity is expected to reach 1,07 million KVA.

 

Fees and Charges:

TEDA provides electricity supply of 35 KV (or below) to industrial and lighting users. According to relevant state regulations on electricity supply, users with an electricity consuming load of 100 KVA (or above) shall receive electricity supply of 10 or 35 KV. Users shall pay the following fees:

1.Basic Electricity Rate

Users (resident users, small-sized commercial users, office users and lighting users excluded) shall pay Basic Electricity Rate on a monthly basis according to specific load capacities provided in electricity supply contracts. The standard of Basic Electricity Rate is: 15 yuan/ per KVA/month.

2.Metered Electricity Rate

Users shall pay Metered Electricity Rate according to meter reading on a monthly basis. The standard is as follows:

Note 1: Metered electricity rate of peak hours in the peak period (July, August, and September) is subject to the document published in the same year.

 
Notes2: From 0.90, every reduction of 0.01 in power factor will be charged an extra rate (1.5‰ of the summation of the basic electricity rate, rush hour rate, valley hour rate and normal hour rate).

4.Charges on the Losses of Cables and Transformers

Electricity meters shall be installed on the boundary of various properties. Otherwise property owners shall be responsible for any active or reactive losses of the transformer as well as cable losses.
 
Users of high voltage electricity shall be metered according to the high side figure. When a consensus is reached between the user and the supplier and the cost for transformer losses is included, users can also be metered according to the low side figure. Specific implementation shall strictly follow state regulations concerning the verification and administration of metering indicators.
