Transportation network around TEDA:

 
TEDA is located at the center of Bohai Economic Ring, where is convenient to cover the broad domestic market. It is connected with Beijing (130km) and Tianjin downtown (40km) through Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu expressway and railway, and with Tianjin downtown through other expressways. At present, the transit train between Beijing and Tianjin-TEDA railway is the most advanced bullet high-speed train. The distance between TEDA and Beijing Capital International Airport is 180 km (2 hours driving); TEDA and Tianjin International Airport is 38 km (30 minutes driving); TEDA and Tianjin New Port (chinese) is 5 km (10 minutes driving). TEDA is located at the east end of Asia-Europe Continent Bridge, where is connected with 9 major railroads, and 10 main highways to the domestic market.

TEDA is connected with the highway network all over the country through dozens of main roads, including 1.5 hours driving to Beijing via Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu expressway, and for example, Shanhai Guan-Guangzhou expressway, Beijing-Fuzhou expressway etc are also not far away from TEDA.

Logistic & The Customs:

TEDA Customs has signed formal Transfer Agreement with Tianjin Airport Customs, Beijing Airport Customs. Therefore, the air-ferried cargo can be declared directly in TEDA, which means that the imported materials and components can be declared after arriving at TEDA directly, and the exported products can be declared in TEDA and loaded on the airplane directly; as for the export-oriented clients, TEDA Customs will provide them with "Green Passage"service to make the declaration more convenient.
