With the stable and fast economic development, the social undertaking of TEDA also makes progress in full scale. Facilities such as education, medical care, housing, commerce, culture and social benefits, are under construction and perfection and following the international standards.

Diversified housing parks, villas, hotel, restaurants, golf course, sports fields, bars and clubs in TEDA. The education and medical care infrastructure of TEDA, such as kindergartens, infants schools, primary school, middle school, university, and hospitals, are progressively upgraded.

Up to now, a complete education system has been formed from infants schools to advanced education, from normal education to professional training, from governmental investment to social investment. Currently, there are 12 educational organs in TEDA,  Totally, there are about 35,500 students in TEDA campuses, including 814 expatriate students; 2728 teachers including 147 expatriate teachers.

It used to be a problem for the expatriates in TEDA to send their children in local schools. In order to solve this problem, TEDA government invested a high standards international school, which is capable of providing multi-language education. This international school practices international standards of teaching certificates, foreign teachers being engaged, foreign education materials being applied, and best hardware being installed. All these measures ensure that children in TEDA can receive the same qualified education as they would have in their mother country or even better.
