Hotel
Sheraton Hotel (5 stars)
This is a five star hotel containing 300 spacious and luxurious guest rooms. All of the rooms and apartments have satellite TV, IDD telephone, radio, air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, an in-room safety box, minibar, 24 hour room service...the usual Sheraton service and style. Within the lobby is also an ATM.
The hotel also has a wealth of recreational and business facilities including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a sauna, a disco, a massage center, tennis courts, a gym, secretarial services and internet access. From the lobby you can also rent bikes and book the airport shuttle bus. Chinese, Western and Japanese cuisine is to the highest level here, while relaxation can be had in the bar, or lounge with its baby sitting facilities. All of this style does however come with a price tag.
Holiday Inn (4 stars)
The hotel is a middle price range four star. It has 256 rooms, including studio and executive suites, and all are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, IDD telephone, internet access, minibar and 24 hour room service. Non-smoking floors are available. There are also fairly comprehensive services provided here from business facilities (a business center, a ballroom with 300 people seating capacity/audiovisual equipment and conference rooms) to well equipped recreational services (indoor pool, billiards, beauty salon, massage, sauna, steam bath and gym). For the more flush, and lazy, limousine hire is available, for the less so, bicycles can be rented. Money exchange and ticket reservation are as standard in the Holiday Inn range.
Crystal Palace (4 stars)
It is a four star, Sino-American venture (not related to the British soccer club) that provides comfort and good views to the passing businessman or traveler. There are a total of 346 rooms and suites here, including apartments and offices. All rooms are available with satellite TV, minibar, IDD telephone, air-conditioning and 24 hour room service. For recreation the Crystal Palace has a good health club with a massage and sauna center, a fully equipped gymnasium and a tennis court. There is also a swimming pool and a supermarket, and the business center provides secretarial and communication services.
Dickson Hotel: (applying for 4 stars)
There are 107 luxuriously furnished and tastefully designed guestrooms and suites in this hotel, filled with imported Italian furnishings and modern conveniences such as satellite TV, mini bar. 24 hour room service are available. For recreation, there is a Jacuzzi, gymnasium and the Club Rose Karaoke. The hotel also features with 2 lounges, a coffee shop, business center, meeting rooms and gift shop.
Tianjin Astor Hotel: (4 stars)
Originally built by the British in 1863, the New World Astor Hotel, is a great four star old colonial hotel. It is built overlooking the river and has housed many visiting notables, including US President Herbert Hoover. The best of the 223 rooms here have to be the 94 big rooms in the charming old wing. The other sections have standard rooms, suites and an executive floor. Despite some old surroundings, the rooms are all fairly well equipped, with satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, IDD telephone and in-room safes. Non-smoking rooms are also available.
Renaissance Tianjin Hotel (5 stars)
The hotel has 273 tastefully furnished guest rooms, including 61 Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. The Renaissance Cafe, Dynasty Chinese Restaurant and Lobby Lounge provide endless delights for gourmets giving a great quality and variety.

The Junyue Hotel is a newly open four star facilities hotel located in Tianjin Shopping Area.There are different type of rooms within the hotel, range from deluxe to suites. All are nicely decorated and equipped with modern facilities. The hotel has Chinese and western restaurants. For recreation, there is a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and KTV rooms. The hotel's business center provides conference facilities and secretarial services.
Friendship Hotel: (4 stars)
The Tianjin Friendship Hotel is located in the commercial center of Tianjin. The rooms here are, however, of acceptable quality, all 274 of them equipped with in-house movies, air-conditioning, satellite TV, IDD telephone and minibar. The rooms range from standard rooms to deluxe suites, with an executive floor of decent, and more expensive, suites.
Tianjin Hyatt Regency Hotel (4 stars)
Hyatt Regency is situated in the city center, on the banks of the Hai River. This four star hotel in total has 450 rooms include business suites, executive suites and presidential suites. TEDA International Conference Center
Managed by Marriott Group, the center will start operation in early April. With a construction area of 80,000 sqm, the center will provide facilities for conference, exhibition, accommodation, and restaurant. The largest multifunctional hall can accommodate 1000 people.
