Welcome Letter£ºDEMO China

Over the last 16 years, the DEMO Conference has ushered many of the most remarkable technology innovations to market in the United States. From early advances in digital media to the Palm handheld computer to today's exciting Web 2.0 applications, DEMO is a showcase of exciting new products and a meeting place for the thought leaders of the personal technology market.

Today, DEMO celebrates a launch of its own: the inaugural DEMO China conference. China is a vibrant and exciting marketplace, ripe with innovation and opportunity. These characteristics are the hallmarks of the DEMO experience, and it is fitting that China host the first ever DEMO event to be held outside the United States.

As the technology markets become increasingly global, the world looks to China for inspiration, invention and innovation. And we will look to DEMO China as the launch pad for these new ideas.

As the executive producer of the DEMO Conferences in America, I am delighted to welcome DEMO China to the family of DEMO conference. Congratulations and best wishes!

Chris Shipley
