Investment Procedure
  Procedures for Undertaking Processing Trade

1. Recording of the Processing Trade
An enterprise who applies for processing trade for the first time shall put its processing trade on records. The following documents are required in application:
  1. Duplicate of business license
  2. Certificate of approval
  3. Approval of project proposal
  4. Capital verification report (If only part of the capital is made available, contract and articles of association of the enterprise should be provided.)
  5. Site certificate
  6. Application for processing trade recording

2. Processing with Imported Materials
The following documents are required if an enterprise applies for processing with imported materials:

  1. Application for the processing with imported materials
  2. Import and export contract
  3. Duplicate of the business license of carry-over companies and a certificate of approval
  4. Standard contract

3. Processing with Supplied Materials
The following documents are required if an enterprise applies for processing with supplied materials:

  1. Application for the processing with supplied materials
  2. Counterpart contract of processing with supplied materials
  3. Standard contract

4. Processing Trade for Domestic Sales

  1. Application for domestic sales (in duplicate)
  2. Duplicate of the import license is required if the raw materials of the processed goods for domestic sales are products that require import license.

5. Transit Report of Processing Trade

  1. Application for the processing trade (in duplicate)
  2. Import and export contract (in duplicate)
  3. Duplicate of the business license of the carry-over enterprise and a copy of the approval certificate are required if there is any carry-over business.

6. Procedure for the Recording of Verification and Cancellation of the Processing Trade
The enterprise should verify and write off the processing trade at the Trade Promotion Section of the Trade Development Bureau of TEDA within 30 days after the manual was cancelled after verification.

  1. Recording form of verification and cancellation of the processing trade contract
  2. Copy of the notification of case winding-up by the Customs
