Positioning of the development

Planned area

The total planned area of Nangang Industrial Zone is 200 square kilometers, of which the terrestrial area is 162 square kilometers.

Infrastructure

Road: A road system in the "chequered" pattern will be adopted in traffic planning within the industrial zone. The expressway and urban trunk road will constitute a comprehensive road system featuring "six main horizontal roads and five main vertical roads."

Water supply: There are surface water, desalinated seawater, recycled water, the direct use of seawater and other water sources that contribute to the water supply capacity of 1100,000 tons per day, ensuring the use of water in the regional development.

Electricity supply: According to the plan, a 500KV transformer substation and seven 220KV transformer substations will be newly built within the industrial zone.

Industrial gas: The natural gas will be transported from Dagang Oil Field, Bohai Oil Field, Shanbei Gas Field, Huabei Oil Field and other sources of gas supply. A natural gas storage and distribution station and a high pressure regulating station will be installed within the industrial zone.

Heat: According to the plan, a thermal power plant with the installed capacity of 6*300 MW will be newly constructed.

Waste disposal: According to the plan, two waste water disposal plants will be constructed, one with the disposal capacity of 150,000 cubic meters per day and the other, 200,000 cubic meters per day. A center for the recovery and treatment of renewable resources will be installed.
