Microelectronics Industrial Park (Xiqing) Click to enter Microelectronics Industrial Park     Micro-electronics Industrial Park (MIP) The park is located in the Jingang Railway of Dasi Town in Xiqing District, Tianjin. It's one of the nearest industrial parks to the downtown of Tianjin. It was founded on 24th May, 1996. It's one of the three outer parks attached to TEDA. Years later, the development of all 2.32 km2 area arranged with projects in MIP was completed. It has developed into the largest scale, the most centralized of industries and the highest investment efficiency IT industry production base in Northern China.   Location Advantages of MIP Expressway: 9 expressways, 6 national highways around, Beijing to Tianjin: the distance of 120km long and 2km far from Outer Ring Traffic Line. A lot of bus lines lead to the central stations in Tianjin. Railway: Six main line railways lead to every part of the country. Inter City Hi-speed Rail connects Beijing, Tianjin and TEDA. Tianjin-Binhai Light Railway arrives at TEDA. Air Transportation: 150km away from Beijing International Airport(1.5 hours' drive); 16km away from Tianjin International Airport(20 minutes' dirve); Domestic passenger airline pivot. The largest cargo airport in China. Sea Transportation: 50km away from Tianjin port, connected by Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway Linking to 300 ports in 160 countries. Having all kinds of berths for bulk cargos, containers, petrochemicals, etc. Having professional roll-on ships. Environment Advantages of MIP   It is the one of the newly established industrial parks that is closest to the city center. Located in a windward area of southwest monsoon, the park has relatively high quality air. By combining afforestation and its natural enviroment, which is beautiful, clean and ecologically balanced, it has initially become an enviroment-friendly industrial park. Water and Topograghical Features: MIP is situated on a smooth terrain with Dagu high-level elevation of 3.3 meters. Its underground water level is 1.5-2.5 meters with good construction geological features. Before used as economic development area, here is a garden plot with land resistance of about 110KN/m2. Meteorological Features: MIP has a temperate continental monsoon climate with distinctively different four seasons. The annual average temperature is 11.6oC, dominant wind direction is southwest and the annual precipitation is 555 millimeters, which is very suitable for microelectronic industry. Analyses on Air Quality: MIP locates at the windward of Tianjin. The content of pollution factor such as SO2, TSP, CO, NO2 and etc. are all lower than which that regulated to or lower than national enviroment standards. Environmental protection Inspection station of Tianjin Xiqing District had took samples in 5 places separately of our park. The results proved that the air conditions were good and had reached the second level of the standards, the overall level of air conditions is better than the central district in Tianjin. Greening: The park has a green area of more than 400,000 square meters. The west of the MIP has bulit an ecological garden composed of waters, lawn and trees, while its original land features keeping unchanged. The Scientist Century Park, adjacent to Jingang Highway, is situated to the east of Microelectronics Industrial Park and occupying an area of 47,000m2, it composed of various plants and squares as well as decorated walls and sculptures of scientists from home and abroad, fully manifesting the theme of respecting, upholding and developing science. It greatly promotes the overall outlook of Microelectronics Industrial Park and enables the park to become "an ecological, green and human-focused park." Noise Control: The annual average of noise level is between 55dB to 59dB, which is up to the natioanl standard. Infrastructure and Facilities Conditions of MIP   Roadway: The road framework is laid out in a neat square grid. To meet the need of microelectronics industry to transport large scale containers, the planned width between red lines of all major roads in the park is over 20 meters, among which it is 60 meters wide in Edison Road. All the roads can guarantee the free transportation of vehicles carrying 40-feet containers. The total area of completed road in the park reached 400,000 square meters. Water Supply: Water supply is provided to the city via DN 800mm pipe through Tianjin water supply pipe network. There is a pressurizing station in the park to guarantee water supply for resident enterprises at the peak of water consumption. Our daily water supply here can reach 25,000 tons. Sewage system: The park adopts the scientific split flow sewage system to separate rainwater and sewage. A rainwater and sewage pumping station has been bulit, which has a capacity of discharging 6m3 of rainwater per second and 0.6m3 of sewage per second. Rainfall sewage framework is bulit along planned roads. Discharging sewage by area and district is employed to guarantee smooth sewage discharge in all areas. Electricity System: There is an 110kv power transformer substation for reliable power supply in the park. The capacity is 150,000KVA. According to the demand of customers, power could be supplied at two voltage levels: 10KV and 35KV with the single or double power supply mode. Heating Infrastructure: The centralized heating system has adopted 4 heating centers, which can provide heating supply for enterprises in winter, to keep the high quality of its air and surrounding environment of MIP. The 4 heating supply center with 15 boilers of each 119 tons/hour maximum stream capacity which all adopted American Clayton boiler, feed on fuel oil or natural gas and other kinde of enviroment friendly heating materials. Natural Gas Supply: The Microelectronics Industrial Park has the necessary conditions to provide natural gas. Natural gas can be provided to enterprises through pipelines with a daily capacity of 200,000 cubic meters. In addition, it possesses industrial gas transporting pipelines provided by American Northern Air Products(Tianjin) Co., Ltd. to transfer high pure special gas to residents in the park. Apartment Building: The electronic apartment building will occupy 86,000 square meters in all offering the outside employers high-quality dwelling facilities. Supporting facilities like department stores, restaurants and libraries as well as computer training and entertainment facilities are available here, providing all around and comprehensive service to the residents. Luxury villas and upper grade apartment buildings with different styles have been built in the surrounding area, which could server for expatriates and upper ranking managerial personnel. Infrastructure:  Logistics--The modern professional logistics company has set up its service center in MIP. For its standard operating processes and advanced technological means, the company provides the clients with professional and whole process logistics services, such as the UPS and FedEx in the U.S and DTW logistics.  Telecommunication--At present MIP can offer 10 thousand IDD program controlled telephones. The local post office can manage the postal business, stamp collection, express mail service and other post-related services and installment business.  Wide Band Network--MIP plans to adopt the most advanced kilo mega Ethernet technology and establish the most advanced information network, providing enterprises with the best information management and service. The MIP composed of two enterprises with the industry output value over 10 billion. The total industrial output value of MIP has occupied nearly 1/4 of TEDA and 1/4 of Tianjin IT Industry. >>> MIP has explored the development path featuerd with "Low cost, High output, High profit".
