TIANJIN GRANDSBERG PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. was approved by Tianjin government in 1993, and registered in TEDA. Initially, the Company was jointly invested by Tianjin Medicinal Materials Company and Grandsberg Gen-seng Farming Co., Ltd from Canada, and reorganized at the end of 2001, with 40 million Yuan to form the jointly invested by Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Tianjin Zhongxin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co., Ltd, Grandsberg Gen-Seng (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd, and Canada Grandsberg Gen-Seng Farming Co., Ltd. The registered capital of the Company is 4.96 million USD, and total investment of 9.4 million USD, which is a joint venture engaged in developing, processing, producing, and marketing, and focused on health food, gen-seng products, natural medicines producing.
In order to accelerate the development of the Company, a new 40,000 sq. m pharmaceutical factory building with GMP standard is invested to be constructed. The first phase is about 16000 sq. m, with construction area of 4000 sq. m, and total investment of 15 million Yuan. Moreover, at the end of this October, the Company decided to invest several dozens of million RMB to create the brand name of itself, while operates at the same time in the domestic and international markets.
